How can I obtain the payout information on my maturing lease?
You may obtain your payout information by logging into your Infiniti Financial Services Online Account Manager at
. If you don’t yet have an account yet, you can create one by registering. You may also retrieve your payout information by contacting your dealership or our Customer Service department at 1-800-565-2445.
When do I have to return my vehicle?
Your vehicle is due back at your INFINITI Dealership by the maturity date.
When will I receive my security deposit refund?
Provided that you do not have any excess wear and tear and/or excess kilometer charges, your security deposit is refundable after 15 business days from the date we
(a) generate your liability statement, which occurs 21 days after we receive confirmation of your vehicle return or
(b) receive certified funds for the purchase of your vehicle.
How can I access my condition report once I have received my liability statement?
Please go to
(go to LOGIN and Get Condition Report) to access your condition report. Please ensure that you have your Infiniti Financial Services account number and the last 8 digits of your VIN handy. Accessing your condition report will allow you to see pictures of the damages that generated the inspection charges.
If I decide to buy my existing leased vehicle, how can I get it registered in my name?
To purchase your leased vehicle, please contact your INFINITI Dealership to make the necessary arrangements. Your INFINITI Dealership will assist you in registering your vehicle. There will be costs to register and certify your vehicle.
Can someone else purchase my lease vehicle?
You as the lessee have the first option to purchase your leased vehicle. Your INFINITI Dealership, as named on your leasing contract, has the second option to purchase your leased vehicle. If you have a third party who is interested in purchasing your leased vehicle, please contact your IINFINITI Dealership to make the necessary arrangements.
What does it mean to “ground” a vehicle?
When you return your leased vehicle, your Dealership will inscribe your vehicle online via an internal website. This process is known as “grounding a vehicle”. You will receive a grounding receipt at the time of drop off signed by both yourself and the Dealership.
I have received a lease-end liability statement. How do I go about paying it?
You can now make an online payment directly to your account by adding Infiniti Financial Services as a payee. You can also make the payment via certified funds sent by registered mail to Infiniti Financial Services at 5290 Orbitor Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 4Z5. Additionally, you can contact our Lease Customer Network department at 1-800-565-2445 (option 6) to make a credit card payment.
Can I purchase/return my vehicle prior to the end of my lease?
Yes, you can – however, early return and early purchase fees may apply.

When do I have to make arrangements with my Dealership to return/purchase the vehicle?
We recommend that you make arrangements with your INFINITI Dealership 30 days prior to your maturity date.
Is it possible to extend my lease at the end of the term?
It may be possible to extend your lease if your new INFINITI vehicle is not yet available. You will need to put a deposit on the vehicle in order for the extension to be approved. Please contact your dealership or our Lease Customer Network department at 1-800-565-2445 (option 4).
Is the residual value negotiable?
The residual value as indicated on your leasing contract is non-negotiable.
When is my last payment due?
Your last payment is generally due one month prior to the maturity date of your lease. If you have a semi-monthly lease, your last payment is due 15 days prior to the maturity date of your lease. If you have had a payment due date change, please contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-565-2445.
Can I return my leased vehicle to any INFINITI Dealership?
It is recommended that you return your leased vehicle to the INFINITI Dealership where it was leased. Should you wish to return your leased vehicle to a non-originating INFINITI Dealership, you must make prior arrangements with that Dealership.
What are the charges for exceeding my kilometer allowance?
Please refer to your Lease Agreement for the applicable excess kilometer charges.
Can I purchase extra kilometers during the course of my lease?
Additional kilometers cannot be purchased as the leasing contract cannot be changed.

We will be in touch as the end of your lease approaches. You will receive an email outlining your lease end options and the exciting offers available should you choose to lease or purchase new INFINITI .
You essentially have three options when your lease comes to an end:
1. Lease or Purchase a New INFINITI Vehicle
Turn in your current vehicle and lease or buy a new INFINITI. IFS’s Preferred Customer Retention Program (see below) makes this a particularly attractive option!
If your dealer does not purchase your vehicle, it will be inspected and may result in some excess wear and tear charges (less any loyalty incentives) and excess kilometre charges.
2. Purchase your Current Leased Vehicle
There’s no better used vehicle than the one you already know and drive! If you elect to purchase your vehicle for its residual value, you can also avoid any potential excess kilometre issues as well as any excess wear & tear charges. You will not be responsible for any costs other than the predetermined purchase price (residual value) as outlined on your Lease Agreement and any incidental charges that may apply.
Examples of incidentals could include items such as applicable sales taxes, Safety & Emissions testing, vehicle registration fees, etc.
Should you choose to purchase, and require a purchase loan, IFS may be able assist you with your financing needs. Your dealership can provide you with more details. Please note, administration fees will be charged at the dealership.
3. Return your INFINITI
If you decide to simply return your INFINITI, we will make the process as easy and seamless as possible.
IFS’s Lease Customer Network department will contact you prior to maturity to answer any questions that you may have. Prior to your maturity date, it is strongly recommended that you contact your INFINITI Dealership to schedule an appointment to drop off your vehicle.Please remember to bring your two key fobs when turning in your vehicle.
The Dealership will ground your vehicle in your presence using an internal website. At the time of drop off, the Dealer will print off an IFS grounding receipt to be signed by both you & the Dealership. Please ensure you retain this form as it is a receipt acknowledging the date that you returned the vehicle. The grounding receipt is not a vehicle inspection report.
If the dealer does not purchase your vehicle, an independent 3rd party inspector will complete a detailed condition report. The condition report is then used by IFS to determine whether excess wear and tear charges are warranted, or if the vehicle has been driven beyond the allowable contract kilometres, which would then be charged to you.

It is recommended that you schedule an appointment with your Dealership to rectify potential excess wear and tear problem areas before grounding your leased vehicle.
